{"data":{"id":"us-ca/gov-31681.51","jurisdiction":"us-ca","citation":"GOV § 31681.51","heading":"","body":"Every retirement allowance or optional death allowance (including an allowance payable to a survivor of a member) payable to or on account of any member of this system or of a superseded system who has been or was retired for service is hereby increased as follows:\nPeriod during which Percentage of increase in\nretirement became monthly retirement\neffective allowance\nOn or prior to June 30, 1962 10%\n12 months ended June 30, 1963 8%\n12 months ended June 30, 1964 6%\n12 months ended June 30, 1965 4%\n12 months ended June 30, 1966 2%\nIn no event shall any allowance be increased by an amount greater than fifty dollars ($50) a month nor less than ten dollars ($10) a month.\nThis section shall not be operative in any county until such time as the board of supervisors shall, by ordinance adopted by majority vote, make the provisions of this section applicable in such county.","path":["Government Code - GOV","TITLE 3.
