{"data":{"id":"us-ca/lab-9004","jurisdiction":"us-ca","citation":"LAB § 9004","heading":"","body":"“Carcinogen” means and includes the following recognized cancer-causing substances for which standards have been adopted pursuant to Chapter 3 (commencing with Section 9020):\n(a) Any of the following substances and any compound, mixture, or product containing these substances:\n(1) 2-acetylaminofluorene.\n(2) 4-aminodiphenyl.\n(3) Benzidine and its salts.\n(4) Bis(chloromethyl) ether.\n(5) 3,3´-dichlorobenzidine and its salts.\n(6) 4-dimethylaminoazobenzene.\n(7) Beta-naphthylamine.\n(8) 4-nitrodiphenyl.\n(9) N-nitrosodimethylamine.\n(10) Beta-propriolactone.\n(11) Methyl chloromethyl ether.\n(12) Alpha-naphthylamine.\n(13) 4,4´-methylene-(bis)2-chloroaniline.\n(14) Ethyleneimine.\n(b) Asbestos, including chrysotile, amosite, crocidolite, tremolite, anthophyllite, and actinolite.\n(c) Vinyl chloride.\n(d) Any other substance for which standards are adopted and in effect due to cancer-causing properties and any compound, mixture, or product containing such a substance, except as specifically exempted from the standards.","path":["Labor Code - LAB","DIVISION 5.
