{"data":{"id":"us-ca/pen-20170","jurisdiction":"us-ca","citation":"PEN § 20170","heading":"","body":"(a) No person may openly display or expose any imitation firearm in a public place.\n(b) As used in this section, “public place” means an area open to the public and includes any of the following:\n(1) A street.\n(2) A sidewalk.\n(3) A bridge.\n(4) An alley.\n(5) A plaza.\n(6) A park.\n(7) A driveway.\n(8) A front yard.\n(9) A parking lot.\n(10) An automobile, whether moving or not.\n(11) A building open to the general public, including one that serves food or drink, or provides entertainment.\n(12) A doorway or entrance to a building or dwelling.\n(13) A public school.\n(14) A public or private college or university.","path":["Penal Code - PEN","PART 6.
