{"data":{"id":"us-ca/shc-6508.2","jurisdiction":"us-ca","citation":"SHC § 6508.2","heading":"","body":"Prior to the sale of any owner-occupied residential property, the treasurer or his or her designee shall, in person, make every reasonable effort to meet with the owner-occupant in the office of the treasurer or his or her designee or otherwise speak with the owner-occupant. During this contact, the treasurer or his or her designee shall, in language understandable to the owner-occupant, explain that the property will be sold unless the delinquency is paid. The explanation shall also include a full explanation of the right of redemption.\nFailure to comply with this section shall not invalidate any sale pursuant to this act.","path":["Streets and Highways Code - SHC","DIVISION 7.
