{"data":{"id":"us-ca/wic-16517.5","jurisdiction":"us-ca","citation":"WIC § 16517.5","heading":"","body":"(a) A social worker or probation officer acting as an officer of the court shall not make an out-of-home placement of a dependent or ward of the court pursuant to this chapter with any of the following:\n(1) A relative of the social worker or probation officer responsible for the placement of the child.\n(2) The spouse of a relative described in paragraph (1).\n(b) A social worker or probation officer acting as an officer of the court shall not receive compensation for the out-of-home placement of a dependent or ward of the court other than the compensation received as an employee of the county or the state.","path":["Welfare and Institutions Code - WIC","DIVISION 9.
