{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-11-46-101","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 11-46-101","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this article, unless the context otherwise requires:\n\n(1) \"Fiduciary\" means any person as defined in section 15-1-103 (2), C.R.S.\n\n(2) \"Lease\" means the contract between lessor and lessee governing the use, payment, and other terms and conditions with regard to a safe deposit box.\n\n(3) \"Lessee\" means a person contracting with a lessor for the use of a safe deposit box.\n\n(4) \"Lessor\" means any association defined in section 11-46-102 which maintains safe deposit facilities.\n\n(5) \"Person\" means any natural person, partnership, whether limited or general, corporation, or entity leasing a safe deposit box.\n\n(6) \"Safe deposit box\" means any vault, box, receptacle, or other safekeeping facility maintained by a lessor for lease to third persons.","path":["Title 11 - FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS","Article 46 - Safe Deposit Facilities"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-11.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"b19443c65586a6498630eec2f1cc2777ece51fdb8b6ce271dc7383cc6f0c4072","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-11-45-103","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-11-46-102"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
