{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-11-50-107","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 11-50-107","heading":"Other transfer by fiduciary.","body":"(1) Subject to subsection (3) of this section, a personal representative or trustee may make an irrevocable transfer to another adult or trust company as custodian for the benefit of a minor pursuant to section 11-50-110, in the absence of a will or under a will or trust that does not contain an authorization to do so.\n\n(2) Subject to subsection (3) of this section, a conservator may make an irrevocable transfer to another adult or trust company as custodian for the benefit of the minor pursuant to section 11-50-110.\n\n(3) A transfer under subsection (1) or (2) of this section may be made only if:\n\n(a) The personal representative, trustee, or conservator considers the transfer to be in the best interest of the minor;\n\n(b) The transfer is not prohibited by or inconsistent with provisions of the applicable will, trust agreement, or other governing instrument; and\n\n(c) The transfer is authorized by the court if it exceeds ten thousand dollars in value.","path":["Title 11 - FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS","Article 50 - Colorado Uniform Transfers to Minors Act"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-11.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"dcfbb8ec44b13bc3f3b81ebf354e0c2fa8a24f923c3c451b6f9b16b735de85c0","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-11-50-106","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-11-50-108"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
