{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-12-10-706","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 12-10-706","heading":"License or registration inactivation.","body":"(1) The board may inactivate a state license or a registration with the nationwide mortgage licensing system and registry when a licensee has failed to:\n\n(a) Comply with the surety bond requirements of sections 12-10-704 (8) and 12-10-717;\n\n(b) Comply with the errors and omissions insurance requirement in section 12-10-707 or any rule of the board that directly or indirectly addresses errors and omissions insurance requirements;\n\n(c) Maintain current contact information, surety bond information, or errors and omissions insurance information as required by this part 7 or by any rule of the board that directly or indirectly addresses those requirements;\n\n(d) Respond to an investigation or examination;\n\n(e) Comply with any of the education or testing requirements set forth in this part 7 or in any rule of the board that directly or indirectly addresses education or testing requirements; or\n\n(f) Register with and provide all required information to the nationwide mortgage licensing system and registry.","path":["Title 12 - PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS","Article 10 - Real Estate","Part 7 - MORTGAGE LOAN ORIGINATORS"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-12.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"4c5d2596d0cecff6638374d57aafb5a08b2d80d3708daca2c21c4965d3622da0","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-12-10-705","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-12-10-707"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
