{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-12-120-214","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 12-120-214","heading":"Licenses.","body":"(1) The board, upon acceptance of an applicant who has demonstrated competence in professional engineering and upon receipt of payment of the required fee, shall license and issue a unique license number to the applicant.\n\n(2) The board, upon acceptance of a qualified engineer-intern and upon receipt of payment of the required fee, shall enroll the applicant.\n\n(3) A license may be issued at any time and is subject to the renewal, expiration, reinstatement, and delinquency fee provisions specified in section 12-20-202 (1) and (2).\n\n(4) Any person whose license has expired shall be subject to the penalties provided in this part 2 or section 12-20-202 (1).\n\n(5) A professional engineer shall give notice to the board, in writing, of any change of address within thirty days after the change.","path":["Title 12 - PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS","Article 120 - Engineers, Surveyors, and Architects","Part 2 - ENGINEERS"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-12.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"c3e688dde219d7f399e1015eeb009e8a04621b14a48deeca51bca47488e08597","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-12-120-213","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-12-120-215"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
