{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-12-240-147","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 12-240-147","heading":"Delegation of medical-aesthetic services to unlicensed individuals - required disclosures - applicability.","body":"(1) An individual licensed to practice medicine under this article 240 who delegates medical-aesthetic services to an individual who is not a licensed health-care provider shall:\n\n(a) Post or cause to be posted a notice in a highly visible manner at the physical location where the delegated services occur, which notice indicates:\n\n(I) The name of the licensee;\n\n(II) The licensee's Colorado physician license number;\n\n(III) Contact information for the licensee; and\n\n(IV) An online address where a patient may file a complaint with the board;\n\n(b) Post or cause to be posted on the public website and on all advertising materials of the unlicensed individual a notice that:\n\n(I) States that medical-aesthetic services are delegated; and\n\n(II) Indicates the name and Colorado physician license number of the licensee;\n\n(c) Provide an informed consent form to each patient, which form:\n\n(I) States that the patient is receiving medical-aesthetic services delegated to an unlicensed individual from a licensed individual;\n\n(II) Includes the information included in the notice described in subsection (1)(a) of this section; and\n\n(III) Must be signed by the patient; and\n\n(d) Retain each consent form described in subsection (1)(c) of this section for at least seven years.\n\n(2) This section does not apply to a facility that is regulated under title 25.","path":["Title 12 - PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS","Article 240 - Medical Practice"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-12.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"172358839eca961e6da8346aa5155af090cbb5567649cda987a758ee46eec5ff","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-12-240-146","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-12-245-101"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
