{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-15-5-110","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 15-5-110","heading":"Others treated as qualified beneficiaries.","body":"(1) Whenever notice to qualified beneficiaries of a trust is required pursuant to this code, the trustee shall also give notice to any other beneficiary who has sent the trustee a request for notice.\n\n(2) A charitable organization expressly designated to receive distributions under the terms of a charitable trust has the rights of a qualified beneficiary pursuant to this code if the charitable organization, on the date the charitable organization's qualification is being determined:\n\n(a) Is a distributee or permissible distributee of trust income or principal;\n\n(b) Would be a distributee or permissible distributee of trust income or principal upon the termination of the interests of other distributees or permissible distributees then receiving or eligible to receive distributions; or\n\n(c) Would be a distributee or permissible distributee of trust income or principal if the trust terminated on that date.\n\n(3) A person appointed to enforce a trust created for the care of an animal or another noncharitable purpose as provided in section 15-5-408 or 15-5-409 has the rights of a qualified beneficiary pursuant to this code.\n\n(4) The attorney general has the rights of a qualified beneficiary with respect to a charitable trust having its principal place of administration in this state.","path":["Title 15 - PROBATE, TRUSTS, AND FIDUCIARIES","Article 5 - Colorado Uniform Trust Code","Part 1 - GENERAL PROVISIONS AND DEFINITIONS"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-15.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"266610ca119941cb7e4d20a37a2a964861c9e84537ed1593823d6039e937c5d7","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-15-5-109","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-15-5-111"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
