{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-18-24-101","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 18-24-101","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this article 24, unless the context otherwise requires:\n\n(1) \"Convicted\" and \"conviction\" mean a plea of guilty accepted by the court, including a plea of guilty entered pursuant to a deferred sentence under section 18-1.3-102, a verdict of guilty by a judge or jury, or a plea of no contest accepted by the court.\n\n(2) \"Crime against a child\" means any offense listed in section 18-3-411, or criminal attempt, conspiracy, or solicitation to commit any of those offenses, and any of the following offenses, or criminal attempt, conspiracy, or solicitation to commit any of the following offenses:\n\n(a) Incest, in violation of section 18-6-301;\n\n(b) Child abuse, in violation of section 18-6-401;\n\n(c) Contributing to the delinquency of a minor, in violation of section 18-6-701;\n\n(d) Internet luring of a child, in violation of section 18-3-306;\n\n(e) Sexual assault on a client by a psychotherapist, in violation of section 18-3-405.5, when the victim is a child;\n\n(f) Invasion of privacy for sexual gratification, in violation of section 18-3-405.6, when the victim is a child;\n\n(g) Human trafficking of a minor for involuntary servitude, in violation of section 18-3-503; or\n\n(h) Human trafficking of a minor for sexual servitude, in violation of section 18-3-504.","path":["Title 18 - CRIMINAL CODE","Article 24 - Crimes Against Children Surcharge"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-18.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"083fa8a5d5dbeff03530cd5bc6983d9a54e8ba15c0d411b435be38d2776d3f20","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-18-23-102","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-18-24-102"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
