{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-22-1-150","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 22-1-150","heading":"Gun violence prevention awareness - materials to parents - definitions.","body":"(1) As used in this section, unless the context otherwise requires:\n\n(a) \"Local education provider\" means a school district created pursuant to article 30 of this title 22, a board of cooperative services created pursuant to article 5 of this title 22, a charter school authorized by a school district pursuant to part 1 of article 30.5 of this title 22, an institute charter school authorized by the state charter school institute pursuant to part 5 of article 30.5 of this title 22, and the Colorado school for the deaf and the blind authorized pursuant to section 22-80-102.\n\n(b) \"Materials\" means the gun violence prevention materials created by the office of gun violence prevention and posted on the website of the office pursuant to section 25-20.5-1203 (2)(e).\n\n(2) (a) A local education provider, at the beginning of each school year, shall access the materials posted on the website of the office of gun violence prevention and distribute the materials, in a written or electronic format, to each parent, guardian, and legal custodian of a student enrolled in a school of the local education provider.\n\n(b) Each local education provider shall post or link to the materials on the local education provider's website.","path":["Title 22 - EDUCATION","Article 1 - General Provisions"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-22.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"4a346f8a6b3a4a62abf20b0423cb77a022454b4efb74a89b7a52f3e134efa309","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-22-1-149","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-22-1-151"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
