{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-22-2-310","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 22-2-310","heading":"Data reporting - instructional hours - report.","body":"(1) (a) By the beginning of the 2025-26 school year, the department shall standardize the reporting method that schools of a school district, district charter schools, school districts, institute charter schools, and the state charter school institute use to collect and report data concerning:\n\n(I) Instructional hours;\n\n(II) School calendars; and\n\n(III) The number of hours students spend on instructional time during the school year.\n\n(b) Beginning in the 2025-26 school year, and each school year thereafter, the department shall collect from schools of a school district, district charter schools, school districts, institute charter schools, and the state charter school institute, at a minimum, the following data:\n\n(I) Days of instruction for elementary and secondary schools;\n\n(II) Instructional hours for elementary and secondary schools;\n\n(III) Estimated non-instructional hours, school closures, snow days, and time spent on lunch and passing between classes; and\n\n(IV) The number of days and percentage of the school year students were placed on abbreviated school day schedules, as defined in section 22-20-123.\n\n(2) The department shall annually publish the data in an accessible report on the department's website, including on the department's web page for school and district data.","path":["Title 22 - EDUCATION","Article 2 - Department - Commissioner","Part 3 - DATA REPORTING AND TECHNOLOGY"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-22.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"9688e645ccf22389dc785bf760494c90670ef33d1be9d77f5135c6061a27662c","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-22-2-309","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-22-2-311"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
