{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-22-5-103","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 22-5-103","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this article, unless the context otherwise requires:\n\n(1) \"Board\" means the board of education of a school district or the governing board or governing agency of a postsecondary institution.\n\n(2) \"Board of cooperative services\" or \"BOCES\" means a regional educational service unit designed to provide supporting, instructional, administrative, facility, community, or any other services contracted by participating members.\n\n(2.3) \"District charter school\" means a charter school authorized by a school district board of education pursuant to part 1 of article 30.5 of this title.\n\n(2.5) Repealed.\n\n(2.7) \"Institute charter school\" means a charter school authorized by the state charter school institute pursuant to part 5 of article 30.5 of this title.\n\n(3) \"Postsecondary institution\" means a community or technical college, a local district college, or a state-supported institution of higher education.\n\n(4) \"School district\" means any public school district existing pursuant to law.\n\n(5) \"State board\" means the state board of education.","path":["Title 22 - EDUCATION","Article 5 - Boards of Cooperative Services Act of 1965"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-22.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"fe00fc6eac24431970b67abeb7971b091374476216e5f70671122b79c334dac9","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-22-5-102","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-22-5-104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
