{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-22-7-703","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 22-7-703","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this part 7, unless the context otherwise requires:\n\n(1) Repealed.\n\n(2) \"Department\" means the department of education created in section 24-1-115, C.R.S.\n\n(3) \"Grant program\" means the teacher development grant program created in section 22-7-704.\n\n(4) \"School\" means any public school in the state, including but not limited to a traditional public school of a school district, a charter school, and an approved facility school, as defined in section 22-2-402 (1).\n\n(5) \"State board\" means the state board of education created in section 1 of article IX of the state constitution.\n\n(6) \"Teacher development schedule\" means a schedule of school-based skills-development activities to assist teachers throughout the school year in improving their classroom teaching skills. A \"teacher development schedule\" may include, but need not be limited to:\n\n(a) Time set aside during which teachers meet to review their assignments, present lesson plans, and provide feedback to one another; and\n\n(b) On-site training, observation, and evaluation by recognized experts in instructional strategies and techniques.","path":["Title 22 - EDUCATION","Article 7 - Educational Accountability","Part 7 - TEACHER DEVELOPMENT GRANT PROGRAM"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-22.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"e390630e6a030fd403c2bb1e4268e7181139b4eeeb67f3f844888e690bf2c8e1","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-22-7-702","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-22-7-704"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
