{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-23-82-101","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 23-82-101","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this article 82, unless the context otherwise requires:\n\n(1) \"Consortium\" means the work-based learning consortium convened pursuant to section 23-82-102 (2)(a).\n\n(2) \"Department\" means the department of higher education created and existing pursuant to section 24-1-114.\n\n(3) \"Fund\" means the higher education work-based learning consortium fund.\n\n(4) \"Institution of higher education\" means:\n\n(a) A state institution of higher education, as defined in section 23-18-102, or an accredited campus of a state institution of higher education;\n\n(b) A participating private institution of higher education, as defined in section 23-18-102;\n\n(c) A local district college, as defined in section 23-71-102; and\n\n(d) An area technical college, as defined in section 23-60-103.\n\n(5) \"Industry-sponsored projects\" means projects that create a high-quality opportunity for students in which the work-based learning content will enhance educational learning objects of the project and courses to which the project is applied. \"Industry-sponsored projects\" are a type of work-based learning.\n\n(6) \"Pilot program\" means the work-based learning consortium pilot program created in section 23-82-102 (1).\n\n(7) \"Work-based learning\" has the same meaning as set forth in section 8-83-601.","path":["Title 23 - POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION","Article 82 - Work-based Learning Consortium Pilot Program"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-23.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"37863de5aa72e8f285575307d117204a8f7e43d3e3ed098d15722d2c1ed40a6a","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-23-81-102","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-23-82-102"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
