{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-24-32-3801","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 24-32-3801","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this part 38, unless the context otherwise requires:\n\n(1) \"Child care center\" has the same meaning set forth in section 26.5-5-303 (3).\n\n(2) \"Child care facility\" means:\n\n(a) A commercial or residential property that is either a new or existing child care center or a new or existing family child care home and that is licensed or is seeking a license; or\n\n(b) A neighborhood youth organization as defined in section 26.5-5-303 (17).\n\n(3) \"Division\" means the division of housing created in section 24-32-704 (1) within the department of local affairs.\n\n(4) \"Family child care home\" has the same meaning set forth in section 26.5-5-303 (7).\n\n(5) \"Fund\" means the child care facility development cash fund created in section 24-32-3805 (1)(a).\n\n(6) \"Institution of higher education\" means a private institution of higher education, as defined in section 23-18-102 (9), or a state institution of higher education, as defined in section 23-18-102 (10), that offers child care or the Auraria higher education center.\n\n(7) \"Licensed\" has the same meaning as \"license\" set forth in section 26.5-5-303 (13).\n\n(8) \"Local government\" means a county, a municipality, a city and county, a tribal government, or an early childhood development service district created pursuant to article 21 of title 32.\n\n(9) \"Public school\" means a school, including a district charter school, of a school district; a school operated by a board of cooperative services; or an institute charter school.","path":["Title 24 - GOVERNMENT - STATE","Article 32 - Department of Local Affairs","Part 38 - PROGRAMS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CHILD CARE FACILITIES"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-24.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"ac61c6a1d04cd61ac919aee8739ab2482fe4aea8475a2f716e00c6e7d47cfc95","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-24-32-3711","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-24-32-3802"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
