{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-24-4-203","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 24-4-203","heading":"Evaluation and implementation.","body":"(1) Each agency shall:\n\n(a) Document the following results and publish a summary of pathways available to a veteran to obtain authorization to practice an occupation:\n\n(I) Evaluate the extent to which military training meets all or part of the state requirements to be authorized to practice an occupation;\n\n(II) Identify reciprocity mechanisms with other states; and\n\n(III) Determine if an occupational exam is available to authorize a veteran to practice an occupation;\n\n(b) Consult with community colleges and other post-secondary educational institutions with regard to:\n\n(I) Courses or programs to cover the gap between military occupational specialty training and the training required to be authorized to practice an occupation; and\n\n(II) Refresher courses for the reinstatement of lapsed civilian credentials; and\n\n(c) Consider adopting a national credentialing exam.","path":["Title 24 - GOVERNMENT - STATE","Article 4 - Rule-making and Licensing Procedures by State Agencies","Part 2 - MILITARY OCCUPATIONAL STREAMLINING"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-24.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"f7873d7d98ec85ee7a45a39b01a661b99b9f84897430024a0061d3517c7221f8","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-24-4-202","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-24-4-204"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
