{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-24-46.3-202","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 24-46.3-202","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this part 2, unless the context otherwise requires:\n\n(1) \"Department\" means the department of labor and employment created in section 24-1-121.\n\n(2) \"Fund\" means the hospitality career secondary education fund created in section 24-46.3-204.\n\n(3) \"Grant program\" means the hospitality career secondary education grant program established in section 24-46.3-203.\n\n(4) \"Hospitality industry\" means Colorado restaurants, hotels, and attractions.\n\n(5) \"Hospitality program\" means a hospitality secondary education program that, at a minimum:\n\n(a) Includes a curriculum that teaches career- and college-readiness skills that are pertinent to the hospitality industry;\n\n(b) Offers secondary-level students the opportunity to work in the hospitality industry and earn wages while in the program;\n\n(c) Offers hospitality industry-validated certificates of completion;\n\n(d) Is approved by the office in the Colorado community college system that administers high school career and technical education programs for use in Colorado high schools;\n\n(e) Has been administered in at least one Colorado high school for a minimum of three years;\n\n(f) Is endorsed and supported by at least one Colorado and one national hospitality trade association; and\n\n(g) Upon successful completion, will result in the issuance of a certificate to the student that articulates credits for postsecondary education.","path":["Title 24 - GOVERNMENT - STATE","Article 46.3 - Work Force Development","Part 2 - HOSPITALITY CAREER SECONDARY EDUCATION GRANT PROGRAM"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-24.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"68f8b17c798f6c70cfc5e6fca811130d4c78b05b52e80e32f770c68d3e276503","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-24-46.3-201","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-24-46.3-203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
