{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-24-60-3102","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 24-60-3102","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this part 31, unless the context otherwise requires:\n\n(1) \"Department\" means the department of regulatory agencies, created in section 24-1-122.\n\n(2) \"Executive director\" means the executive director of the department.\n\n(3) \"Medicine\" or \"medical practice\" has the same meaning as \"practice of medicine\" as defined in section 12-240-107.\n\n(4) \"Nursing\" or \"nursing practice\" includes both the practice of practical nursing and the practice of professional nursing as set forth in section 12-255-104 (9) and (10), respectively; except that nothing in this part 31 shall be construed to authorize nurses to deliver services outside their scope of practice.\n\n(5) \"State\" means a state of the United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, or a territory or possession of or administered by the United States.","path":["Title 24 - GOVERNMENT - STATE","Article 60 - Interstate Compacts and Agreements","Part 31 - COMPACT FOR PORTABILITY OF HEALTH-CARE PROFESSIONAL LICENSES - AUTHORIZATION"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-24.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"5ffe8b54cb55dca19ad49748fefc6d80a086981e36456caa4343073ecdfd7009","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-24-60-3101","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-24-60-3103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
