{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-24-72.4-105","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 24-72.4-105","heading":"Department of transportation - revenue and expenditure - online database - link to web-based system.","body":"(1) No later than July 1, 2012, the department of transportation shall develop, maintain, and make publicly available a searchable, online revenue and expenditure database.\n\n(2) The online database must:\n\n(a) Include the following information for all revenues received by the department of transportation:\n\n(I) The amount received;\n\n(II) The date of receipt;\n\n(III) The source of the moneys; except that the identity of an individual making a payment to the department of transportation should not be included;\n\n(IV) The reason for the payment;\n\n(V) The fund in which the moneys are deposited; and\n\n(VI) The program for which the moneys are received;\n\n(b) (I) Except as set forth in subparagraph (II) of this paragraph (b), include the following information for each expenditure made by the department of transportation:\n\n(A) The amount of moneys expended;\n\n(B) The date of the transaction;\n\n(C) The vendor that received the payment;\n\n(D) The purchase category; and\n\n(E) The fund from which the expenditure was made;\n\n(II) Include only the following information about payments made to each employee of the department of transportation:\n\n(A) The personnel area of the employee;\n\n(B) The employee's job title; and\n\n(C) The gross year-to-date payments made to the employee;\n\n(c) Be searchable;\n\n(d) Be updated at least every five business days to include new expenditure and revenue data;\n\n(e) Beginning on July 1, 2013, include archived revenue and expenditure data for the prior state fiscal year only.\n\n(3) The online database must not include:\n\n(a) Any information that is not a public record or that is exempt from disclosure pursuant to the \"Colorado Open Records Act\", part 2 of article 72 of this title, or pursuant to part 3 of article 72 of this title; or\n\n(b) Any information that is confidential pursuant to state or federal law.\n\n(4) The department of transportation may include any other information that the department determines will increase transparency.","path":["Title 24 - GOVERNMENT - STATE","Article 72.4 - Revenue and Expenditure Web-based System"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-24.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"142fd389f73a75b68d1831e0cdd4c39b352219652df6f969bf60f89b5fcbc8b5","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-24-72.4-104","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-24-72.4-106"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
