{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-24-75-201.2","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 24-75-201.2","heading":"Restriction on state spending - unrestricted general fund year-end balances.","body":"(1) (a) For purposes of determining unrestricted general fund year-end balances as required in section 24-75-201.1 at the end of any fiscal year, moneys budgeted or allocated for possible state liability, pending the determination of a legal action, shall not be included.\n\n(b) Moneys budgeted or allocated for possible state liability, pending determination of a legal action, may be utilized for such purpose without regard to the restrictions on and requirements for expenditures established in section 24-75-201.1.\n\n(2) For purposes of determining the unrestricted general fund year-end balances as required in section 24-75-201.1, the year-end balance of the federal revenue sharing trust fund and all moneys received from the general and special revenue programs of the federal government shall be included in said balances.","path":["Title 24 - GOVERNMENT - STATE","Article 75 - State Funds","Part 2 - GENERAL FUND"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-24.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"9354c69687533bd2e584046dda599ed74e74e8aaf44280698ce6ee4cd945edec","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-24-75-201.1","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-24-75-201.3"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
