{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-25-20.5-1204","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 25-20.5-1204","heading":"Resource bank - duties.","body":"(1) The office shall create and maintain a resource bank of regularly updated and accurate materials and resources as a repository for data, research, and statistical information regarding gun violence in Colorado.\n\n(2) As part of maintaining the resource bank, the office shall:\n\n(a) Assist researchers who are seeking information about gun violence in Colorado;\n\n(b) Collaborate with researchers, including organizations that conduct gun violence research, to:\n\n(I) Identify gaps in available data needed for gun violence prevention research and develop strategies to improve relevant data collection in Colorado;\n\n(II) Use existing available research to enhance evidence-based gun violence prevention tools and resources available to Colorado communities; and\n\n(III) Improve the understanding of the disproportionate barriers to safety from gun violence by encouraging disaggregation of data by race and ethnicity when research is conducted; and\n\n(c) Promote new and relevant research regarding gun violence prevention and, if possible, make this research accessible to researchers and the public.","path":["Title 25 - PUBLIC HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT","Article 20.5 - Prevention, Intervention, and Treatment Services for Children and Youth","Part 12 - OFFICE OF GUN VIOLENCE PREVENTION"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-25.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"ece3765716cd3ef145029d2f0caf4e7bf32e6e3794687aed3f625e1182b9f94c","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-25-20.5-1203","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-25-20.5-1205"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
