{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-25-20.5-1402","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 25-20.5-1402","heading":"Health-care workforce resilience and retention program - implementation - duties.","body":"(1) Subject to available appropriations, the department shall implement the health-care workforce resilience and retention program, referred to in this section as the \"program\", using existing initiatives to ensure that Colorado's health-care workforce is supported in order to meet the health-care demands of Coloradans.\n\n(2) The program is intended to support the resilience, well-being, and retention of health-care workers. Activities may include:\n\n(a) Providing technical assistance, guidance, and funding support to community partners specific to the development of programs and services aimed at retaining health-care workers, such as best practices and strategies:\n\n(I) That promote healthy work cultures;\n\n(II) That promote the adoption of internal employee assistance programs;\n\n(III) That promote external third-party support and resilience programs; and\n\n(IV) For greater partnerships between care providers and facility and system executive leadership;\n\n(b) Collaborative partnerships with community partners, such as the development, implementation, and evaluation of:\n\n(I) Peer support programs and services;\n\n(II) Pre-clinical in-person and telehealth services;\n\n(III) Training programs; and\n\n(IV) Recovery and resilience coaching for staff and leadership;\n\n(c) Planning, research, and evaluation that supports the resilience, well-being, and retention of health-care workers.\n\n(3) The department may use gifts, grants, or donations to support the program or matching funds from health-care employers.","path":["Title 25 - PUBLIC HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT","Article 20.5 - Prevention, Intervention, and Treatment Services for Children and Youth","Part 14 - HEALTH-CARE WORKFORCE RESILIENCE AND RETENTION PROGRAM"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-25.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"bff0c401b45a7882b7f4b3e7c2fd8fbd0f8ef6c1ed125fba761be68e2412c2ef","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-25-20.5-1401","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-25-20.5-1403"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
