{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-25-7-1503","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 25-7-1503","heading":"Scope and applicability - repeal.","body":"(1) Except as described in subsection (2) of this section and as modified by rules promulgated by the executive director or the commission pursuant to section 25-7-1506, this part 15 applies to the following new products:\n\n(a) Water heaters with a rated heat input capacity of two million BTUs per hour or less; and\n\n(b) Fan-type central furnaces that:\n\n(I) Require either single-phase or three-phase electric supply;\n\n(II) Are used for comfort heating; and\n\n(III) Have a rated heat input capacity of less than one hundred seventy-five thousand BTUs per hour and, in the case of combination heating and cooling units, a cooling rate of less than sixty-five thousand BTUs per hour.\n\n(2) This part 15 does not apply to:\n\n(a) Products held in inventory in Colorado on the effective date of the applicable standard;\n\n(b) Products that were installed in manufactured homes at the time of construction;\n\n(c) Products designed expressly for installation and use in recreational vehicles;\n\n(d) Products that do not burn fossil fuels; or\n\n(e) (I) Until January 1, 2031:\n\n(A) Products fueled by propane; and\n\n(B) Products designed and listed exclusively for installation in a manufactured home and installed as a replacement in a manufactured home.\n\n(II) This subsection (2)(e) is repealed, effective December 31, 2031.","path":["Title 25 - PUBLIC HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT","Article 7 - Air Quality Control","Part 15 - ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARDS FOR HEATING AND WATER HEATING APPLIANCES"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-25.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"39b9f7e6b0bac86aacae28b7354a20b830e839409e3c8d8b253afce0e47573d3","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-25-7-1502","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-25-7-1504"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
