{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-26-25-102","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 26-25-102","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this article 25, unless the context otherwise requires:\n\n(1) \"Child\" has the meaning set forth in section 19-1-103.\n\n(2) \"Council\" means the cradle to career advisory council created in section 26-25-104.\n\n(3) \"Designated service area\" means a geographically bounded local service area in which the concentration of poverty meets the level specified in section 26-25-103 (5)(b)(I).\n\n(4) \"Eligible entity\" means a local government, a local education provider, a state institution of higher education, an Indian tribe or tribal organization, or a nonprofit or not-for-profit community-based organization.\n\n(5) \"Fund\" means the cradle to career grant program cash fund created in section 26-25-107.\n\n(6) \"Grant program\" means the cradle to career grant program created in section 26-25-103.\n\n(7) \"High-quality\" means evidence-based or evidence-informed.\n\n(8) \"Local education provider\" means:\n\n(a) A school district;\n\n(b) A charter school authorized by a school district pursuant to part 1 of article 30.5 of title 22;\n\n(c) A charter school authorized by the state charter school institute pursuant to part 5 of article 30.5 of title 22; or\n\n(d) A board of cooperative services created and operating pursuant to article 5 of title 22.\n\n(9) \"Local government\" means a statutory or home rule city, town, city and county, or county.\n\n(10) \"Subcontracted entity\" means an eligible entity that enters a formal partnership with an eligible entity receiving a grant pursuant to this article 25 and that provides complementary community resources in the grant recipient's designated service area.\n\n(11) \"Youth\" means an individual who is under twenty-five years old.","path":["Title 26 - HUMAN SERVICES CODE","Article 25 - Cradle to Career Grant Program"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-26.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"f8b6d0ca6567e52dbc6a48ea54c3c251faa58f52922e4d1efc727295d8573ab5","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-26-25-101","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-26-25-103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
