{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-26.5-1-103","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 26.5-1-103","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this title 26.5, unless the context otherwise requires:\n\n(1) \"Department\" means the department of early childhood created in section 26.5-1-104.\n\n(2) \"Department rule\" means a rule promulgated by the executive director as authorized in section 26.5-1-105.\n\n(3) \"Executive director\" means the executive director of the department of early childhood.\n\n(4) \"Local coordinating organization\" means the entity selected by the department prior to July 1, 2026, to implement a community plan for increasing access to, coordinating, and allocating funding for early childhood and family support programs and services within a specified community.\n\n(5) \"Rules advisory council\" or \"council\" means the council convened by the executive director pursuant to section 26.5-1-105.","path":["Title 26.5 - EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMS AND SERVICES","Article 1 - Early Childhood Programs and Services","Part 1 - DEPARTMENT OF EARLY CHILDHOOD"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-26.5.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"fd4e7cd117ad74ed81aea568f6eb84f88ad3088ad7ecf745b0e7e14ec19b57ef","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-26.5-1-102","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-26.5-1-104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
