{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-29-12.5-102","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 29-12.5-102","heading":"Contract for analysis and recommendations.","body":"(1) The board of any political subdivision may contract with an architect, professional engineer, or other person experienced in the design and implementation of utility cost-savings measures or energy saving measures for an analysis and recommendations pertaining to such measures that would significantly increase:\n\n(a) Utility cost savings and operation and maintenance cost savings in buildings or other facilities owned or rented by the political subdivision; or\n\n(b) Vehicle fleet operational and fuel cost savings in the political subdivision's fleet vehicles.\n\n(2) Such analysis and recommendations shall include the following, as applicable:\n\n(a) Estimates of the amounts by which utility cost savings and operation and maintenance cost savings would increase and estimates of all costs of such utility cost-savings measures or energy saving measures including, but not limited to, itemized costs of design, engineering, equipment, materials, installation, maintenance, repairs, and debt service; or\n\n(b) Estimates of the amounts by which vehicle fleet operational and fuel cost savings would increase and estimates of all costs of such vehicle fleet operational and fuel cost-savings measures.","path":["Title 29 - GOVERNMENT - LOCAL","Article 12.5 - Energy Conservation Measures"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-29.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"0c642aae1086074455df041e0800f9d41fa0e9c619009e0a4c57c75920464d4d","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-29-12.5-101","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-29-12.5-103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
