{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-29-7.1-102","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 29-7.1-102","heading":"Organized youth athletic activities - code of conduct.","body":"(1) (a) Each local government shall make available a prohibited conduct policy relating to youth athletic activities.\n\n(b) The prohibited conduct policy must include:\n\n(I) A list of prohibited conduct by parents, spectators, coaches, and athletes and a mandatory reporting policy for adults who have knowledge of an act of prohibited conduct; and\n\n(II) A code of conduct for parents, spectators, coaches, and athletes to follow;\n\n(c) A local government may adopt the model code of conduct policy made available by the department pursuant to section 26.5-1-117.\n\n(2) Each local government shall require each of its coaches to comply with the prohibited conduct policy created pursuant to subsection (1)(a) of this section.","path":["Title 29 - GOVERNMENT - LOCAL","Article 7.1 - Local Government-sponsored Youth Athletic Activity Requirements"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-29.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"fe2880b075f2bae01719dc3bf0b20ec9ca39958dfb002d8290c3f8fe80716e6f","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-29-7.1-101","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-29-7.1-103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
