{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-31-30-1302","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 31-30-1302","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this part 13, unless the context otherwise requires:\n\n(1) \"Bona fide volunteer\":\n\n(a) Has the meaning set forth in section 31-30-1202; and\n\n(b) Means any volunteer member of a rescue unit as defined in section 25-3.5-103, C.R.S.\n\n(2) \"Carrier\" means an entity that provides health coverage in this state, including a franchise insurance plan, a fraternal benefit society, a health maintenance organization, a nonprofit hospital and health service corporation, a sickness and accident insurance company, and any other entity providing a health insurance or health benefits plan or policy subject to the insurance laws and regulations of Colorado.\n\n(3) \"Emergency service provider\"has the meaning set forth in section 29-11-101, C.R.S.\n\n(4) \"Group health insurance plan\" means a group sickness and accident insurance plan as described in section 10-16-214, C.R.S.\n\n(5) \"Qualified services\" means firefighting and fire prevention services, emergency medical services, ambulance services, and search and rescue services.","path":["Title 31 - GOVERNMENT - MUNICIPAL","Article 30 - Fire - Police","Part 13 - VOLUNTEER HEALTH INSURANCE ACT"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-31.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"f95adc53a80fb4e953098cf0561f307e78246eed5e948190bbc70290ebaa8595","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-31-30-1301","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-31-30-1303"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
