{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-35-14-126","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 35-14-126","heading":"Commercial weighing device exemption - licensing - testing.","body":"(1) No license shall be required for the use of the following commercial weighing or measuring devices and such devices shall be exempt from testing:\n\n(a) Person weighers also referred to as pennyweight scales;\n\n(b) Any scale used as an in-plant scale to determine ingredients or other such services where the end product or service is determined by some means other than the in-plant scale;\n\n(c) Those scales operated by the United States postal service;\n\n(d) Postal scales used exclusively for determining postage fees and where final determination of weight is made by the United States postal service;\n\n(e) A pharmacist's prescription scale having less than a four-ounce capacity;\n\n(f) Any other device exempted by the commissioner by rule.","path":["Title 35 - AGRICULTURE","Article 14 - Measurement Standards"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-35.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"ae147e6397274922ef1725f3b17f4b990d3bdaa2fb7f9467ddd27141e85f8055","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-35-14-125","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-35-14-127"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
