{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-38-46-102","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 38-46-102","heading":"Applicability of article.","body":"(1) Except as provided in subsection (2) of this section, this article 46 applies to:\n\n(a) A contract that:\n\n(I) Has a price of at least one hundred fifty thousand dollars; and\n\n(II) Is made between a property owner and a contractor;\n\n(b) A subcontract to a contract described in subsection (1)(a) of this section, notwithstanding that the subcontract price is less than one hundred fifty thousand dollars; and\n\n(c) A supply agreement that is made to supply materials, goods, or equipment used to perform a contract notwithstanding that the supply agreement price is less than one hundred fifty thousand dollars.\n\n(2) This article 46 does not apply to:\n\n(a) A single contract that governs the building of either:\n\n(I) One single-family dwelling; or\n\n(II) One multifamily dwelling with no more than four family dwelling units; or\n\n(b) A contract with a public entity, as defined in section 24-91-102 (3).","path":["Title 38 - PROPERTY - REAL AND PERSONAL","Article 46 - Payment of Construction Contracts in Real Property"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-38.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"06aac82bb10bdac389ae80035644d4071ef88743ef15ea7bd4d0a9110fa9fd10","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-38-46-101","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-38-46-103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
