{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-39-11.5-402","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 39-11.5-402","heading":"Certificate of repurchase - issuance.","body":"(1) No later than three business days following a treasurer's receipt of repurchase money paid pursuant to section 39-11.5-301, the treasurer shall execute and record in each county where the property, or a portion thereof, is located a certificate of repurchase containing:\n\n(a) The name of the purchaser;\n\n(b) The name and address of the lawful holder;\n\n(c) The repurchase amount paid;\n\n(d) The date of the public auction;\n\n(e) The legal description of the property;\n\n(f) The treasurer's deed number; and\n\n(g) A statement that the lawful holder or assignee of the certificate of repurchase shall be entitled to a treasurer's deed under part 3 of this article 11.5.\n\n(2) The failure of a treasurer to comply with this section does not affect the validity of the public auction or the rights of the grantee of a treasurer's deed.","path":["Title 39 - Taxation","Article 11.5 - Issuance of Treasurer's Deeds","Part 4 - CERTIFICATE OF OPTION FOR A TREASURER'S DEED"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-39.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"d0de8a25edd8122e6fa204a00ea5ece51bac8be339bcfa74ee05e351d256c8ff","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-39-11.5-401","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-39-11.5-403"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
