{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-39-11.5-403","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 39-11.5-403","heading":"Certificate of repurchase - assignment.","body":"(1) (a) A certificate of option for a treasurer's deed or a certificate of repurchase that is issued to any person under this part 4 is assignable by endorsement thereon or by separate assignment, and the assignee must be treated for all purposes as the original holder of the certificate of option for a treasurer's deed or certificate of repurchase.\n\n(b) A separate assignment of a certificate of option for a treasurer's deed or certificate of repurchase must contain:\n\n(I) The name and address of the assignee;\n\n(II) The name and address of the assignor;\n\n(III) The legal description of the property subject to the assigned certificate;\n\n(IV) The name of the property owner; and\n\n(V) The treasurer's deed number.\n\n(2) A fee not to exceed twenty-five dollars may be charged by the treasurer to the assignor or assignee for filing an endorsement or separate assignment with the treasurer under this section.","path":["Title 39 - Taxation","Article 11.5 - Issuance of Treasurer's Deeds","Part 4 - CERTIFICATE OF OPTION FOR A TREASURER'S DEED"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-39.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"d2328539ee4b0ad57dbfa9a67003e2f038c7629a7fbb5968062b5cf48d8b3d06","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-39-11.5-402","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-39-11.5-404"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
