Before the repeal, this part 4 is scheduled for review in accordance with section 24-34-104 and subsection (2) of this section.\n\n(2) In conducting its review in accordance with section 24-34-104 (5) and in considering the factors set forth in section 24-34-104 (6)(b), the department of regulatory agencies shall consider the following in evaluating the performance of the commission with regard to regulating towing carriers:\n\n(a) With regard to complaints filed with the commission about towing services:\n\n(I) The number and nature of complaints filed each year; and\n\n(II) How the commission handles the complaints and how the complaints are resolved; and\n\n(b) Whether the towing industry and consumers would benefit from dispute resolution regarding complaints and whether such dispute resolution is being used in any other states.\n\n(3) Repealed.","path":["Title 40 - UTILITIES","Article 10.1 - Motor Carriers","Part 4 - MOTOR CARRIERS OF TOWED MOTOR VEHICLES"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-40.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"505f8bd8238d492ce6375cff2442891321a2ce16030b2010448bb51968f2bf83","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-40-10.1-403","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-40-10.1-405"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
