{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-40-10.1-803","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 40-10.1-803","heading":"Vehicle immobilization company must display name.","body":"(1) (a) A vehicle immobilization company shall display the name of the company, the permit number, and a phone number of the company on each company vehicle used in immobilization.\n\n(b) The display required in subsection (1)(a) of this section must be displayed:\n\n(I) On each side of the company vehicle in plain view; and\n\n(II) When immobilizing a vehicle, driving to immobilize a vehicle, or driving from immobilizing a vehicle, but the display need not be permanently affixed to the company vehicle.\n\n(c) The lettering on the display required in subsection (1)(a) of this section must be:\n\n(I) Legible during daylight hours from a minimum distance of fifty feet; and\n\n(II) At least three inches tall.\n\n(2) The representative of a vehicle immobilization company shall have business identification visibly worn at all times while immobilizing a vehicle or accepting payment.","path":["Title 40 - UTILITIES","Article 10.1 - Motor Carriers","Part 8 - VEHICLE IMMOBILIZATION COMPANIES"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-40.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"db5cdbf216ff69b756f4bc927267e9e319e7fa8b994a0970683c845f68562176","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-40-10.1-802","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-40-10.1-804"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
