{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-42-3-315","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 42-3-315","heading":"Fee for long-term or permanent registration - trailers.","body":"(1) In lieu of any other fee imposed for registration of a trailer, the fee for registration issued under section 42-3-102 (5) is fifty-five dollars and eighty-two cents.\n\n(2) (a) The department or authorized agent that registered the trailer may retain two dollars of the registration fee.\n\n(b) The department or authorized agent shall retain one dollar and fifty cents of the fee, which the department shall transfer to the county where the registration occurred, if applicable, and the county shall allocate the money to the county road and bridge fund for the county created pursuant to section 43-2-202 (1)(a).\n\n(c) The state treasurer shall credit the following amounts of the remainder of the fee to the following funds:\n\n(I) Fifty cents to the Colorado DRIVES vehicle services account created in section 42-1-211 (2) within the highway users tax fund;\n\n(II) Two dollars and fifty cents to the license plate cash fund created in section 42-3-301 (1)(b);\n\n(III) Five dollars to the statewide bridge and tunnel enterprise special revenue fund created in section 43-4-805 (3)(a);\n\n(IV) Sixteen dollars to the highway users tax fund created in section 43-4-201 and allocated as specified in section 43-4-205 (6)(b); and\n\n(V) The remainder of the fee to the highway users tax fund created in section 43-4-201.","path":["Title 42 - VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC","Article 3 - Registration, Taxation, and License Plates","Part 3 - FEES AND CASH FUNDS"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-42.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"ea76a9fcf1619d6c5cac1a256ffb58fb55f12be151ee1a2238ecf3ccf41fa36c","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-42-3-314","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-42-4-101"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
