{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-43-4-1401","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 43-4-1401","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this part 14, unless the context otherwise requires:\n\n(1) \"Alliance\" means the Colorado wildlife and transportation alliance established in 2018 and made up of the department, the division, tribal governments, federal agencies, and nongovernmental partners representing academia, nonprofit organizations, and biological and engineering sciences.\n\n(2) \"Department\" means the department of transportation.\n\n(3) \"Division\" means the division of parks and wildlife in the department of natural resources created in section 33-9-104 (1).\n\n(4) \"Fund\" means the Colorado wildlife safe passages fund created in section 43-4-1402 (1).\n\n(5) \"Project\" means a project by the department for the purposes specified in section 43-4-1402 (3)(a)(I) and (3)(a)(II).\n\n(6) \"Wildlife\" has the meaning set forth in section 33-1-102 (51).","path":["Title 43 - TRANSPORTATION","Article 4 - Financing","Part 14 - COLORADO WILDLIFE SAFE PASSAGES"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-43.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"f310a06bafbe098e2bc551476b91cacb607056cf6295eaefa7de3deb2aac81f9","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-43-4-1303","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-43-4-1402"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
