{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-43-4-510","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 43-4-510","heading":"Cooperative powers.","body":"(1) The authority has the power to cooperate with any person:\n\n(a) To accept contributions, loans, or advances from any person with respect to the financing, construction, operation, or maintenance of a public highway and in connection with any loan or advance to enter into contracts establishing the repayment terms;\n\n(b) To enter into contracts with respect to and to cooperate in the financing, construction, operation, or maintenance of a specified public highway;\n\n(c) To enter into joint operating contracts concerning a public highway;\n\n(d) To cooperate in acquiring easements or rights-of-way for a public highway;\n\n(e) To transfer dominion over all or any portion of a public highway financed, operated, maintained, or constructed by the authority to the federal government, the state, other governmental units, or any person; and\n\n(f) To designate a public highway as part of the federal highway system, the state highway system, a county highway system, or a municipal highway system if the person with jurisdiction over such highway system consents to such designation.","path":["Title 43 - TRANSPORTATION","Article 4 - Financing","Part 5 - PUBLIC HIGHWAY AUTHORITY LAW"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-43.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"6ea277fa11e51d2650180b753a5ae9fae2933394c9553bdb64b5360a3f3a0df1","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-43-4-509","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-43-4-511"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
