{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-44-20-419","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 44-20-419","heading":"Principal place of business - requirements - exceptions.","body":"(1) The building or structure required to be located on a principal place of business shall have electrical service and adequate sanitary facilities.\n\n(2) (a) A room in a hotel, rooming house, or apartment building or a part of any single or multiple unit dwelling house must not be used as a principal place of business unless:\n\n(I) The entire ground floor of the hotel, rooming house, apartment building, or dwelling house is devoted principally to and occupied for commercial purposes; and\n\n(II) The office of the dealer is located on the ground floor of the hotel, rooming house, apartment building, or dwelling house.\n\n(b) It is not a violation of this part 4 or any rule promulgated under this part 4 for a powersports vehicle dealer or used powersports vehicle dealer to:\n\n(I) Deliver a powersports vehicle to a customer for a test drive at a location that is away from the dealer's principal place of business;\n\n(II) Deliver documents for a customer to sign at a location that is away from the dealer's principal place of business;\n\n(III) Deliver documents to, or obtain documents from, a customer at a location that is away from the dealer's principal place of business; or\n\n(IV) Deliver a powersports vehicle to a customer at a location that is away from the dealer's principal place of business.\n\n(3) Nothing in this section shall be construed to exempt a powersports vehicle dealer or used powersports vehicle dealer from local zoning ordinances.","path":["Title 44 - REVENUE - REGULATION OF ACTIVITIES","Article 20 - Sale of Self-propelled Vehicles","Part 4 - POWERSPORTS VEHICLES"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-44.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"2ecc3e3f7cb38be2c9fbb48486109b77537a5dd92f6e3321b15fcc5930b20057","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-44-20-418","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-44-20-420"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
