{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-44-30-823","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 44-30-823","heading":"Use of device for calculating probabilities.","body":"(1) It is unlawful for any person at a licensed gaming establishment to use, or possess with the intent to use, any device to assist:\n\n(a) In projecting the outcome of the game;\n\n(b) In keeping track of the cards played;\n\n(c) In analyzing the probability of the occurrence of an event relating to the game; or\n\n(d) In analyzing the strategy for playing or betting to be used in the game, except as permitted by the commission.\n\n(2) Any person issued a license pursuant to this article 30 violating any provision of this section commits a class 6 felony and shall be punished as provided in section 18-1.3-401, and any other person violating any provision of this section commits a class 2 misdemeanor and shall be punished as provided in section 18-1.3-501.
