{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-44-40-117","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 44-40-117","heading":"Penalties.","body":"(1) In addition to any other penalties that may apply, any person violating any of the provisions of section 44-40-116 commits a class 2 misdemeanor and shall be punished as provided in section 18-1.3-501.\n\n(2) Any person violating the sale restrictions of section 44-40-116 (1)(c) may also be proceeded against pursuant to section 18-6-701 for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.\n\n(3) A person issuing, suspending, revoking, or renewing contracts pursuant to section 44-40-106 or licenses pursuant to section 44-40-107 for personal pecuniary gain or a thing of value as defined in section 18-1-901 (3)(r), or a person violating the provisions of section 44-40-110, commits a class 4 felony and shall be punished as provided in section 18-1.3-401.\n\n(4) Any person violating any of the provisions of this article 40 relating to disclosure by providing any false or misleading information commits a class 6 felony and shall be punished as provided in section 18-1.3-401.","path":["Title 44 - REVENUE - REGULATION OF ACTIVITIES","Article 40 - State Lottery Division"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-44.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"113ec352cd89f457625a5aaaf27e4afbaa937d4b0deaa31b20b40cd76fedebc0","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-44-40-116","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-44-40-118"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
