{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-6-25-106","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 6-25-106","heading":"Safe for valuables - notice.","body":"A landlord or keeper of a hotel or public establishment in this state who provides in the office of the hotel, establishment, or other convenient place a safe, vault, or other suitable receptacle for the secure custody of money, jewelry, ornaments, or other valuable articles other than necessary baggage belonging to the guests or patrons of the hotel or public establishment, and who keeps posted in a public and conspicuous place in the office, public room, and public parlors of the hotel or public establishment and upon the inside entrance door of every public sleeping room in the hotel or public establishment a notice printed in English stating the fact, is not liable for the loss of any money, jewelry, ornaments, or other valuable articles, other than necessary baggage, sustained by the guest or patron by theft or otherwise, unless the guest or patron delivers the money, jewelry, ornaments, or other valuable articles, other than necessary baggage, to the landlord or keeper of the hotel or public establishment, or person in charge of the office of the hotel or public establishment, for deposit in the safe, vault, or other receptacle.
