{"data":{"id":"us-co/c.r.s.-8-12-106","jurisdiction":"us-co","citation":"C.R.S. § 8-12-106","heading":"Permissible occupations at age nine or older.","body":"(1) Subject to the limitations of sections 8-12-105 and 8-12-110, any minor at age nine or older shall be permitted employment in any of the following nonhazardous occupations:\n\n(a) Delivery of handbills, advertising, and advertising samples;\n\n(b) Shoeshining;\n\n(c) Gardening and care of lawns involving no power-driven lawn equipment;\n\n(d) Cleaning of walks involving no power-driven snow-removal equipment;\n\n(e) Casual work usual to the home of the employer and not specifically prohibited in this article;\n\n(f) Caddying on golf courses;\n\n(g) Any other occupation which is similar to those enumerated in this subsection (1) and is not specifically prohibited by this article.","path":["Title 8 - LABOR AND INDUSTRY","Article 12 - Colorado Youth Employment Opportunity Act"],"source_url":"https://olls.info/crs/crs2026-title-08.htm","current_through":"Colorado Revised Statutes 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:37:45Z","sha256":"d9cfa451a0f9cd16c26da2cfc155c89f14414f4d0ef9b539eb8ef0c1be182a39","source_id":"us-co","stale":false,"prev":"us-co/c.r.s.-8-12-105","next":"us-co/c.r.s.-8-12-107"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
