Stat. § 10-76jjj","heading":"Notification re staffing changes at certain special education program placements.","body":"Each regional educational service center and private provider of special education services, as defined in section 10-91g, shall send written notification to the parent or legal guardian of a student receiving special education services, the local or regional board of education that has placed such student with such regional educational service center or private provider for the provision of special education services and the Department of Education regarding all staffing changes that impact the provision of such special education services, including, but not limited to, vacancies, long-term absences and assignments of long-term substitutes, not later than five business days from the occurrence of such staffing change. Such written notice shall include, but need not be limited to, specification of (1) any change in services provided by specialists, (2) any change to student to teacher ratios, and (3) the plan to mitigate the impact of such staffing change on such student.
