Stat. § 10-76ooo","heading":"Study re disproportionate or over-identification of minority students for special education and related services.","body":"The Department of Education shall conduct a study concerning the disproportionate or over-identification of minority students for special education and related services. Such study shall include, but need not be limited to, an examination of the rates of identification for special education and related services, disaggregated by race and gender for each school district. Not later than January 1, 2027, the department shall submit a report on its findings and recommendations to the Office of the Educational Ombudsperson, established pursuant to section 10-15o, and to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to education, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a.","path":["TITLE 10.
