Stat. § 14-169","heading":"When certificate required.","body":"(a) Except as provided in section 14-166, the provisions of this chapter shall apply to all motor vehicles at the time of initial registration or when a change of registration is required under the provisions of section 14-16 by reason of a sale for consideration.\n(b) The commissioner shall not require an application for a certificate of title upon the renewal of the registration of a vehicle.\n(c) The commissioner shall note on the face of the registration of each vehicle for which a certificate of title has been issued a statement to that effect.","path":["TITLE 14.
