Stat. § 16-244gg","heading":"Requirement for participation in the regional independent system operator.","body":"(a) For the purposes of this section, “electric distribution company” and “regional independent system operator” have the same meanings as provided in section 16-1.\n(b) On and after July 1, 2025, no electric distribution company shall own or control transmission facilities, as defined in subdivision (1) or (4) of subsection (a) of section 16-50i and located in the state unless such company participates in the regional independent system operator.","path":["TITLE 16.
