Stat. § 17a-10f","heading":"Foster Parent Bill of Rights.","body":"(a) For purposes of this section, “caregiver” has the same meaning as provided in section 17a-114d.\n(b) Not later than January 1, 2026, the Commissioner of Children and Families shall, in consultation with caregivers, develop a foster parent bill of rights and incorporate such bill of rights into department policy. Such bill of rights shall be consistent with applicable federal and state laws and include, but not be limited to, (1) a statement of the principles and values that form the basis for such bill of rights, and (2) the rights and obligations of caregivers, children in foster care and the Department of Children and Families.","path":["TITLE 17a.
